The luck of having a great artist and great designer--the 2001 Norton Critical Edition of MOBY-DICK, vol. 2 of my biography, and MELVILLE BIOGRAPHY

This is a day for counting blessings. The designer at Northwestern University Press has just produced for my MELVILLE BIOGRAPHY: AN INSIDE NARRATIVE the most evocative and alluring cover anyone has ever made for a Melville book, I thought. I can't post it yet, but the competition is very tough competition. Here is Maurice Sendak's cover picture for the second volume of my biography (Johns Hopkins); Glen Burris designed the edition.

I'm feeling very lucky, and not sure where to award the golden apple. Wait till I post the cover for MELVILLE BIOGRAPHY: AN INSIDE NARRATIVE!
