Mississippi Bells take note--What you find on the Internet--Uncle Jim Johnston and Aunt Jane Ewart Johnston's stairs!

James Johnston was the husband of Jane Ewart, my GGGG Aunt and again my GGGG Aunt, Daughter of two-time GGGGG Grandfather Robert Ewart, the Committee of Safety man. Johnston at King's Mountain led a troop consisting of his father-in-law, several of his brothers-in-law (one of whom, Robert Knox, may have been a cousin also), and some of their neighbors. Apparently this is the troop that was called "South Fork Boys."
