Obituary for Cousin Thomas Ewart Bell 1822-1879 in a Sonora Newspaper--As Child Knew King's Mt Veterans

Think about it: as a child he knew Thomas Bell, a King's Mountain man, and other Revolutionary veterans such as his uncle Robert Knox. He was a Gold Rush man who died in Inyo in 1879, but he remembered the North Carolina Scots who had won the most important battle in the South, the turning point of the war.
