Job Holden in his pension application, 1836--Cape May

To the Interrogatories required to be propounded he makes the following replies.

To the first Interrogatory he saith –

I was born in some one of the northern states – which I do not know – I was brought from the North when a child – all I recollect is I was told the place where I was born was called Cape May, I was born in the year 1752.
